About 20 minutes northeast of downtown Fresno in the beautiful San Joaquin Valley, is the extraordinary city of Clovis, CA.


Named after pioneer Clovis M. Cole, the city grew around the Southern Pacific Railroad and was incorporated in 1912. While maintaining its heritage and charm, modern Clovis has a thriving business district, nationally recognized schools, a low crime rate and an affordable cost of living.



The Old Town District

Entertainment and Recreation

ClovisFest is an annual event in September where participants have the opportunity to ride in hot air balloons, listen to live entertainment, sample delectable cuisine and browse the merchandise of over 200 area craftsmen.


In April, the city celebrates the “Clovis Big Hat Days.” The event brings more than 130,000 people into Old Town Clovis, with over 300 different arts and craft exhibits, great food and live country music.


Whether it’s the Clovis Rodeo, the May Strawberry Jamboree, the Barbeque Championship or countless other events throughout the year, Clovis celebrates its heritage with enthusiasm and gusto.


Recreational activities for those who enjoy the outdoors are plentiful as well. River expeditions, trails and tours, hiking and golfing are all in abundance in Clovis.
